**[City, State] – November 7, 2024** – In a significant ruling, the Kerala High Court has ordered strict regulations for dolly workers transporting pilgrims to the Sabarimala Sannidhanam. The court has mandated that only registered dolly workers with valid police verification certificates and health cards be permitted to carry pilgrims along the trekking path.

The Division Bench, comprising Justice Anil K. Narendran and Justice P.G. Ajithkumar, also directed the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) to ensure the fitness of dollies before each monthly puja and the Mandala-Makaravilakku festival season. The court further instructed the TDB to publish the rate for dolly trips (to and fro) on the Virtual-Q platform and to display the rates in multiple languages at Pampa, Marakkootam, and Sannidhanam.

These measures aim to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims during their journey to the revered Sabarimala temple.
