**Sharjah, UAE:** Najmul Hossain Shanto will continue to lead the Bangladesh national cricket team in the upcoming one-day international (ODI) series against Afghanistan, scheduled for November 6, 9, and 11 in Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The squad has been announced and includes notable players like Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das, and Mushfiqur Rahim.
This will be Shanto’s last series as captain. The player has expressed his desire to step down from the captaincy role across all three formats of cricket. While he will lead the team in the Afghanistan series, a change is expected after the tour concludes.
The Bangladesh team for the West Indies tour in late November, which includes two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is, is yet to be announced.
