Maharajganj, [Date] – The fervor of Chhath Puja, the grand festival of faith, is palpable across Maharajganj district. Joining the celebrations, Maharajganj Sadar MLA Jay Mangal Kanojia observed the festival with his family, offering prayers to the Sun God for the well-being of all.
Demonstrating his deep devotion, the MLA walked barefoot from his home to the Chhath Ghat carrying a ‘dola’ (a traditional offering). “Chhath is celebrated with renewed enthusiasm and reverence every year,” said Kanojia, expressing his commitment to the festival. “This year too, I am observing it with utmost devotion along with my family.”
Wishing for prosperity for all, MLA Kanojia prayed to Lord Surya, stating that the festival serves as a reminder of our traditional beliefs and culture. “The entire community celebrates this festival with great pomp and enthusiasm,” he added.
