**Lucknow, India:** The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the examination dates for the highly anticipated PCS Prelims, Review Officer (RO), and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) examinations. **PCS Prelims:**

The PCS Prelims exam is scheduled for **December 7th and 8th, 2024**, in two sessions. The first session will be from **9:30 am to 11:30 am**, and the second session will be from **2:30 pm to 4:30 pm**. The exam will be conducted across **41 districts** in Uttar Pradesh, with over **5.76 lakh candidates** registered for the test.

**Selection Process for PCS:**

The selection process for the UPPSC Civil Service Exam involves three stages: Prelims, Mains, and an Interview. The Prelims act as a qualifying stage, and successful candidates are then eligible to appear for the Mains examination. The Mains is a comprehensive written exam that further assesses candidates’ knowledge. Candidates who clear the Mains are then invited for an interview, which serves as the final stage of the selection process. Success in all three stages is required for appointment to a civil service position through UPPSC.

**RO/ARO Prelims:**

The RO/ARO Prelims exam is scheduled for **December 22nd and 23rd, 2024**.
