**New Delhi, November 6, 2024:** Delhi residents woke up to another day of hazardous air quality on Wednesday, with the air quality index (AQI) remaining in the “very poor” category. While the AQI at 9 a.m. saw a slight drop to 356, four monitoring stations – Bawana, Mundka, Wazirpur, and NSIT Dwarka – reported “severe” air quality, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

The city has been grappling with high levels of pollution for the past two days, with the AQI registering 373 on Monday and 384 on Tuesday, both in the “very poor” range.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted clear skies for the city, with smog during the day and mist at night. Meanwhile, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 17.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees above average. The humidity level at 8:30 a.m. stood at 98%.
