Wed Nov 06 00:18:21 UTC 2024: ## Neymar Injured Again in Al-Hilal’s Champions League Win
**RIYADH, Saudi Arabia -** Neymar, the Brazilian star of Al-Hilal, sustained another injury on Monday in his second game back from a year-long absence. The forward, who had only recently recovered from a torn ACL, came on as a substitute in the AFC Champions League match against Esteghlal of Iran, but left the field with three minutes remaining after stretching his leg for the ball.
Despite the injury, Al-Hilal went on to secure a 3-0 victory over Esteghlal, thanks to a hat trick from Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. All three goals were scored from close range, with the first coming in the 15th minute, the second shortly before the half-hour mark, and the third with 16 minutes left on the clock.
The win keeps Al-Hilal at the top of their 12-team group in the AFC Champions League, with all four of their group stage matches resulting in victories. They are currently ahead of fellow Saudi Arabian team Al-Ahli on goal difference, after Al-Ahli secured a 5-1 win against Iraq’s Al-Shorta, with former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino scoring twice.
Neymar is not registered to play in the Saudi Pro League and has time to recover before the next AFC Champions League match on November 25.
