HOLYOKE, Mass. – The Ninety-Nine Restaurant & Pub has closed its Holyoke Mall location, leaving a void in the mall’s dining options. The decision, made on August 25th, comes as the restaurant’s lease expired.
A statement from Ninety-Nine President & Chief Financial Officer Kara Jacobs highlighted the company’s appreciation for loyal customers and expressed gratitude for the dedicated team. The company is actively working to relocate staff members to other locations or assist them in their job search, including offering severance.
While the closure of the Holyoke location is a loss for the mall, the food court continues to offer a diverse range of dining choices. Recent additions include Terra Nossa Brazilian Grill, featuring rotisserie-style meats and Brazilian favorites, Milkshake Lovers, offering handcrafted milkshakes and smoothies, and Monsoon Bistro, a Southeast Asian restaurant serving traditional Chinese and Thai dishes. Cho’s Fish & Chips is also set to open soon.
Despite the closure, Ninety-Nine emphasizes its commitment to the New England and New York region, with multiple restaurants across the Northeast, including locations in nearby Springfield, West Springfield, Chicopee, and Westfield.
