Wed Nov 06 14:24:04 UTC 2024: ## Bero BDO Inspects Chhath Preparations at Konar River Ghat, Police Seize Illegal Liquor in Tulbul
**Bero:** Ahead of the Chhath festival, Bero BDO Mukesh Kumar inspected the preparations at both the ghats of the Konar River in Bokaro Thermal under Bero subdivision on Monday evening. He was accompanied by Govindpur C Panchayat Mukhiya Vikas Singh and Panchayat Sevak Mithilesh Pandey.
The BDO was satisfied with the arrangements made by the Chhath Puja Committee, including cleanliness, parking facilities, tents for changing clothes, and arrangements for police and medical aid at the ghat near the railway gate.
“The Chhath ghats in Bokaro Thermal are well prepared by the committee, DVC management, and Bharat Ji Patel Company,” said BDO Kumar. He also emphasized that DVC management will be responsible for providing adequate security during both the morning and evening rituals on Chhath, including lighting, divers, medical assistance, and fire engines.
Meanwhile, police seized a large amount of illegal English liquor from a tea stall in Kari Tongri, Tulbul Panchayat under Bero subdivision. The haul included 15.66 liters and 28.4 liters of foreign liquor and beer. The raid was conducted by an armed force from Gomia police station.
