Tue Nov 05 05:13:17 UTC 2024: ## Telangana CM to Walk 5km Along Musi River on Birthday
**Hyderabad, November 5, 2024:** Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is expected to participate in a 5km walkathon along the polluted Musi river in Nalgonda district on his birthday, November 8th.
After offering prayers at Yadagirigutta Narasimha Swamy temple with his family, Mr. Reddy plans to use the walkathon to engage with farmers and other communities affected by the river’s contamination. The Congress party is considering two locations for the walkathon: Valigonda in Bhongir constituency or Ramannapet in Nakirekal constituency. The final location will be confirmed after an inspection by district Congress MPs and MLAs.
R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy has already convened a meeting with district MLAs and MPs to discuss the Chief Minister’s planned visit.
