Milan, Italy – Royal Enfield has officially launched its highly anticipated first-ever electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. This event, held in Milan, Italy, marks a significant step for the iconic Indian motorcycle manufacturer as they venture into the world of electric mobility.
The Flying Flea C6, a modern interpretation of the company’s 125cc Flying Flea from World War II, boasts a unique blend of classic styling and futuristic technology. Sporting a lean, minimalist design, the motorcycle features familiar Royal Enfield cues like a round headlight, alloy wheels, and round mirrors. However, the most striking feature is the modern take on the girder fork, a design element reminiscent of early 20th-century motorcycles.
The Flying Flea C6 is packed with modern features, including all-LED lighting, a round TFT display similar to the Himalayan, Guerrilla, and Bear 650 models, and advanced electronics like cornering ABS and traction control. While Royal Enfield is yet to disclose details about the powertrain or battery, they confirmed that the C6 will be joined by a scrambler variant, the Flying Flea S6, in the future.
The launch event also featured a glimpse into the company’s Him-E electric motorcycle, a testbed that hints at their future electric offerings. However, the production-ready Flying Flea C6 is expected to be available for purchase only in 2026.
This exciting debut marks a turning point for Royal Enfield, demonstrating their commitment to innovation and sustainability. The Flying Flea C6 is a bold step into the electric motorcycle market, promising a unique blend of classic style and modern technology.
