**Patna, Bihar:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bihar on November 13th to lay the foundation stone for the upcoming AIIMS in Darbhanga. This will be the second AIIMS in Bihar, with the first one located in Patna.
BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal confirmed the visit, highlighting PM Modi’s special connection to Bihar. The Darbhanga AIIMS will be built on a 188-acre plot allocated by the Bihar government near Shobhan bypass in Panchoba. The construction will cover over 2.25 lakh square meters and is expected to be completed within three years.
The new AIIMS is anticipated to benefit not only Darbhanga but also the entire North Bihar region, including Nepal. This will be a major development in the healthcare sector for the region.
Furthermore, PM Modi is also expected to attend a function in Jamui on November 15th to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The central government is celebrating the occasion as a “Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas” and will announce several initiatives for the tribal community.
Apart from PM Modi, the foundation stone laying ceremony in Darbhanga will be attended by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, and other prominent leaders.
