Tue Nov 05 06:14:02 UTC 2024: ## Thousands of Volunteers Pledge to Serve Humanity at Santhwanam Training

**Gudalur, Kerala, November 5, 2024:** Over 5,000 volunteers from across Kerala, Ooty, Bengaluru, and Lakshadweep gathered at the Padanthara Markaz campus on Sunday for a 50-hour training program as part of the Santhwanam initiative. The volunteers renewed their commitment to serving humanity, a pledge formally presented by Kerala Muslim Jamaat president and Sunni leader Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliar.

The Santhwanam Emergency Team (SET), comprising 50 members from each of the 120 zones in Kerala, received special training during the program. The Sunni Yuvajana Sangham (SYS) presented a three-year project outlining how to effectively carry out humanitarian work.

Experts from various fields led training sessions focusing on health, mind, body, obedience, and inspiration. Mohammed Abdul Hakeem Azhari and Mohammed Farook Naeemi were among the prominent figures guiding the volunteers.

The vision and mission of Santhwanam were presented by Kerala Muslim Jamat secretary Sulaiman Saqafi Maliyekkal and Aboobacker Padikkal. Scholar Ponmala Abdul Khadir Musliar inaugurated the valedictory session, presided over by Wandoor Abdurahman Faizy.

The event was marked by a sense of unity and dedication as volunteers from diverse backgrounds came together to contribute to a greater cause. This large-scale training program highlights the growing commitment to humanitarian work within the Santhwanam network.
