**NEW YORK -** Maye Musk, mother of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, has called on female voters to reject what she believes is media brainwashing and to “think for themselves” ahead of the upcoming election. In a Friday interview on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” Musk explained her recent departure from the Democratic Party, citing the “Twitter Files” as a turning point.
“It was when Elon bought Twitter, and then the Twitter Files came out, and it was full of government agencies paying Twitter millions of dollars to remove Republicans from Twitter,” Musk revealed. “I said, ‘That is the most dishonest thing to do, especially as Republicans and Democrats pay the salaries of the government agencies.'”
Musk went on to condemn the alleged corruption exposed in the “Twitter Files” and expressed concern about the “biased media coverage” that she believes influences voters.
“Women are intelligent,” Musk stated, “and I thought I was too. I have to say I was brainwashed, and so many women are brainwashed.”
Musk’s message to female voters is clear: “Don’t be brainwashed, and think for yourself, and think for a better future.”
During the interview, Musk also addressed criticism of her son, specifically from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who questioned Elon’s understanding of American hardships. Musk countered, “He isn’t a pleasant man, he’s not very bright, and he’s quite silly.”
In her closing remarks, Musk expressed confidence in her son’s ability to make a positive impact on America alongside President Trump, citing his work with Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter).
“Elon is going to save America with Trump and all the magnificent people on Trump’s team,” she stated. “He can make a change. It will be better for America.”
