**HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 5, 2024:** A 30-year-old man, Manda Venkata Kamesh, was arrested by the Women Safety Wing of Hyderabad police for allegedly defrauding multiple individuals through matrimonial platforms. Kamesh, a resident of Mortha village in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, is a habitual offender who has cheated victims across Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
According to police, Kamesh employed deceptive tactics to lure unsuspecting individuals on various matrimonial websites. A non-bailable warrant was pending against him in the Nampally court, and he was finally apprehended in Andhra Pradesh.
The arrest comes as a relief to numerous victims who were duped by Kamesh. Police are urging anyone who may have fallen victim to his scams to come forward and register complaints.
