Tue Nov 05 00:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Expresses Discontent with Minister Vasamsetti Subhash Over Graduate Voter Enrollment

**Rajamahendravaram:** Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his displeasure with Minister Vasamsetti Subhash over his alleged lack of seriousness in graduate voter enrollment.

During a teleconference with ministers and in-charge ministers of the combined East Godavari district on Sunday evening, Naidu questioned Subhash’s commitment to the process.

“The party has given you respect by electing you as an MLA and making you a minister. But if you don’t show dedication, how can we expect progress? If you don’t perform your duties, I will have to consider alternatives,” Naidu warned.

Specifically addressing Subhash’s performance in Ramachandrapuram constituency, Naidu noted that only 2,630 out of 9,000 votes had been registered, representing a meager 29% enrollment. He further pointed out that only 319 votes were registered on Saturday.

“You are a young man, and this is your first time as an MLA. You should have a sense of urgency and responsibility. Have you even looked at the voter registration progress in your constituency?” Naidu questioned.

Naidu reiterated that he expects all ministers to be proactive and ensure swift voter enrollment. He also expressed some dissatisfaction with MLC candidate Perabathula Rajasekhar’s performance in this regard.

“Don’t think I am putting pressure on you. This is my responsibility, and you are responsible for yours. Every MLA must prove themselves in every election. It’s a constant test. If you fail, I will explore alternative options,” Naidu cautioned. He added that he would inform the public if ministers are not working according to expectations.
