After a successful run in action-packed and dramatic roles, Sidharth Malhotra is returning to his romantic comedy roots. The actor has signed on for “Param Sundari,” directed by Tushar Jalota, known for his work on “Dasvi.” Joining him in this lighthearted venture is Janhvi Kapoor, marking their first collaboration on-screen.
“Param Sundari” promises to be a classic “opposites attract” story, with Sidharth playing a sophisticated Delhi-based businessman and Janhvi portraying a Keralite woman. Despite their cultural differences, their paths cross, leading to a whirlwind romance.
The film is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to begin filming in December, with its first schedule taking place in Delhi.
This project comes amidst a busy schedule for both actors. Sidharth is also in discussions to join the cast of “Race 4,” marking the return of Saif Ali Khan to the popular franchise. Meanwhile, Janhvi is preparing for “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” a Shashank Khaitan directorial featuring a star-studded ensemble cast including Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.
