Mon Nov 04 11:34:46 UTC 2024: ## YSRCP Leader Sparks Controversy by Wearing Party Logo at Tirumala Temple
**TIRUPATI, NOVEMBER 4, 2024:** Ambati Rambabu, a leader of the YSRCP, has ignited controversy by wearing a shirt emblazoned with the logo of his party leader, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, while visiting the Tirumala temple on Monday.
BJP MP CM Ramesh, who noticed the logo, publicly criticized Rambabu’s act, calling it “crazy” and accusing him of disrespecting the deity. Ramesh alleged that Rambabu attempted to cover the logo with a scarf while taking photos, further highlighting his disregard for religious decorum.
Ramesh also pointed out that political activities, including displaying party flags and banners, are prohibited within the temple town, and questioned Rambabu’s audacity in entering the sacred space with party insignia. He vowed to file a complaint with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) authorities.
The incident comes shortly after the YSRCP’s recent election defeat, which saw the party lose a significant number of seats. Ramesh expressed his belief that the YSRCP leaders have yet to learn from their loss.
Meanwhile, Ramesh also discussed the positive impact of the ArcelorMittal plant being established in his constituency of Anakapalli, highlighting the potential for job creation for local youth.
