Sun Nov 03 11:14:54 UTC 2024: ## Mumbai Police Investigate Death Threat Against Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

**Mumbai, India** – Mumbai Traffic Police are investigating a death threat against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, received via a WhatsApp message to their control room helpline. The message, sent by an unknown number, threatened to kill Adityanath “like Baba Siddique” unless he stepped down from his position within 10 days.

This incident comes just weeks after former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in Bandra, Mumbai. While the murder of Siddique has been claimed by the gang of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, this latest threat against the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister further heightens security concerns in the city.

The threat against Adityanath also adds to a recent wave of death threats received by Mumbai Police, many targeting actor Salman Khan. These threats demanded ransom from the actor, and police have already apprehended several individuals, including a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur and a tattoo artist from Noida, in connection with these messages.

One of the threat messages against Salman Khan even named Zeeshan Siddique, Bandra MLA and son of the slain politician. This further reinforces the connection between the Bishnoi gang and the recent incidents of violence and threats in Mumbai.

Given the recent events and heightened security concerns, Mumbai Police are taking these threats seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the sender and their motives.
