**Hyderabad, November 4, 2024:** The Telangana School Education Department has announced the dates for the second phase of the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TG-TET-2024-II). Online applications will be accepted from **November 5 to November 20, 2024**, with the examination scheduled to take place between **January 1 and January 20, 2025**.
The Director of School Education, E.V. Narasimha Reddy, stated that the exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test. This announcement follows the successful completion of the first phase of the TG-TET earlier this year, with the results already released.
The TG-TET assesses the eligibility of candidates to teach in Telangana schools. Paper I is designed for those seeking to teach classes I to V, while Paper II is for candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII. This second phase is also expected to attract a significant number of in-service teachers aiming for promotions.
