**Hong Kong:** Sri Lanka emerged victorious in a nail-biting final of the Hong Kong Super Sixes, securing their second title with a three-wicket win over Pakistan.

Sri Lanka, winning the toss and opting to field, put immense pressure on Pakistan from the start, dismissing two batsmen early. Only Mohammad Akhlaq, with a fighting 48 runs, offered any resistance for Pakistan. The team’s innings ended prematurely at 72 runs in six overs, with Dhananjaya Lakshan and Tharindu Rathnayake taking two wickets each for Sri Lanka.

Chasing a modest target of 73 runs, Sri Lanka started cautiously but lost three wickets in the process. However, they managed to reach the target with one over to spare, securing a hard-fought win. Sandun Weerakkody led the Sri Lankan batting effort with 34 runs, while Lihuru Madhusanka contributed 19. Faheem Ashraf took two wickets for Pakistan.

This victory marks Sri Lanka’s second Hong Kong Super Sixes title, cementing their position as a force to be reckoned with in the tournament.
