Mon Nov 04 10:15:25 UTC 2024: ## South Central Railway Introduces Digital Life Certificate Submission for Pensioners

**Hyderabad, November 4, 2024:** South Central Railway (SCR) has launched the Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0, enabling pensioners to submit their ‘Life’ certificates digitally for continued pension payments. The new process utilizes ‘face authentication’ technology based on Aadhaar through an Android smartphone.

Pensioners are required to download two apps: ‘Aadhaar Face RD (Early Access) Application’ by UIDAI from the Google Play Store and ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ version 3.6.3. The Aadhaar Face RD app serves as a background process for Jeevan Pramaan and is mandatory.

The ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ app requires the pensioner to input their full name, pension type, sanctioning authority, disbursing agency, PPO number, and account number. After clicking on declarations and submitting the information, the pensioner will receive an SMS containing the Pramaan-ID and a link to download the DLC.

This new system allows pensioners to conveniently submit their life certificates from home. Previously, pensioners had to physically visit designated locations to submit the certificates.

**Integrity Walkathon Highlights Importance of Integrity**

In a separate event, SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain addressed the importance of integrity during an ‘Integrity Walkathon’ held on Saturday. Jain emphasized that integrity encompasses both honesty and the alignment of one’s heart and mind. He encouraged all employees to cultivate a culture of integrity within the organization. The walkathon was part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, coinciding with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday.
