**KUMURAM BHEEM ASIFABAD, November 3, 2024:** A tragic motorcycle collision in Sirpur (T) mandal of Kumuaram Bheem Asifabad district claimed the life of an Armed Reserve Police head constable on Sunday. Rathod Shankar (53), a resident of Devapur village in Kerameri mandal, was killed when his bike collided head-on with a speeding motorcycle while on duty.

Shankar was on his way to the Hudikili inter-State check post when the accident occurred. Two individuals riding the other motorcycle involved in the collision sustained injuries.

Superintendent of Police D.V. Srinivas Rao paid his respects to the deceased at the district police headquarters later in the day.
