**Mumbai, India -** Mumbai City FC secured their first home win of the season with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Kerala Blasters FC at the Mumbai Football Arena on Sunday. The match was a thrilling affair with multiple lead changes and a red card for Kerala Blasters striker Kwame Peprah.
The Islanders started strong, taking the lead in the ninth minute through a well-placed finish from Nikos Karelis, following a cross from Lallianzuala Chhangte. However, Kerala Blasters fought back, equalizing in the 57th minute through a goal from Jesus Jimenez.
Mumbai City regained the lead in the 53rd minute through a penalty converted by Karelis. However, the visitors struck back again in the 72nd minute through Kwame Peprah, who was subsequently red-carded for removing his shirt during his celebration.
