**Malappuram, November 4, 2024:** A Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Superfast bus bound for Thiruvananthapuram from Thottilpalam overturned at Thalappara in Malappuram district on Sunday night, injuring over 30 passengers.
The bus, carrying more than 50 passengers, skidded off the road and fell into a 10-foot ditch after losing control. Local residents and police swiftly responded, breaking the front and rear windscreens to rescue the passengers.
The injured were taken to Government Taluk Hospital in Tirurangadi, where medical staff reported that their injuries were not serious. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
