Tyler Perry’s latest Netflix series, “Beauty in Black,” enjoyed a strong debut, reaching the second spot on the streaming chart for the week of October 25-31. The series amassed 1.2 billion minutes watched in its first full week, trailing only behind “The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 3, which held onto the top spot for the second week in a row with 1.4 billion minutes watched.
Other notable debuts included Netflix’s “Territory,” which landed in third place with 890.1 million minutes watched. On Paramount+, “Tulsa King” Season 2 continued its momentum, reaching 555.8 million minutes watched, while also boosting viewership for Season 1, which placed tenth on the chart.
The film chart saw Netflix’s “Don’t Move” debut at the top with 792.3 million minutes watched, followed by “Woman of the Hour” and “Canary Black” on Amazon Prime Video.
