Mon Nov 04 07:58:20 UTC 2024: ## Modi Blasts Jharkhand Government in First Poll Rally, Accuses INDIA Bloc of Corruption and Infiltration

**Garhwa, Jharkhand:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) government during his first election rally in Garhwa on Monday. He accused the coalition, part of the INDIA bloc, of rampant corruption, nepotism, and appeasement policies, while highlighting the NDA government’s welfare initiatives for Jharkhand.

Addressing a massive crowd at Srikrishna Gaushala ground, Modi asserted that the people of Jharkhand are ready to “uproot” the ruling government and bring the BJP back to power. He called the INDIA bloc a “Ghuspaithiya Bandhan” (infiltrators’ alliance) and “Mafia Ka Ghulam” (mafia’s slave), claiming they are promoting Bangladeshi infiltration for political gains.

Modi alleged that the JMM-Congress-RJD government had ignored warnings about infiltration and even shielded infiltrators, a claim he backed up by citing a recent High Court case. He emphasized that the “infiltrator alliance” was a threat to the security of both the tribal society and the nation.

The Prime Minister also criticized the state government for corruption, stating that it had plagued all levels, from the Chief Minister to the MLAs. He alleged that the government prioritized family interests over the needs of the people and had failed to deliver on its promises.

Further attacking the ruling coalition, Modi accused them of spreading false information about the PM Kisan Nidhi scheme and said that BJP would fill over 3 lakh government posts in a transparent manner if elected. He appealed to the people to reject the promises made by Congress, arguing that they had destroyed Himachal Pradesh and would do the same to Jharkhand.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh, prior to Modi’s arrival, posed a set of questions to the Prime Minister regarding the implementation of promised projects like railway lines and engineering colleges.

Modi’s Garhwa rally marked the beginning of his campaign for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections. He is scheduled to address another meeting in Chaibasa later today.
