**Kochi, India** – Spanish striker Jesus Jimenez has made a strong start to his Indian Super League (ISL) campaign with Kerala Blasters, scoring four goals in his first six matches. He has now equalled the scoring streaks of former Blasters strikers Antonio German and Dimitrios Diamantakos by scoring in four consecutive matches.

Jimenez’s latest goal, a penalty in the 57th minute against Mumbai City, extended his impressive run. This feat puts him alongside English striker German, who previously held the record during his two stints with the Kochi-based club in 2015 and 2016-17.

The only player with a better scoring streak for the Blasters is Greek striker Dimitrios Diamantakos, who left the club this summer. Diamantakos achieved a five-game scoring streak between November and December 2022, and also had another four-game streak between December 2023 and February 2024.

Jimenez’s impressive start to his ISL career has given Kerala Blasters fans hope for a successful season.
