**São Paulo, Brazil** – Max Verstappen continued his dominance in Formula 1, securing his 17th victory of the season at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver led from start to finish, fending off a late challenge from Lando Norris.

The race at Interlagos saw the championship battle tighten, with Norris taking second place and Fernando Alonso snatching third from Sergio Perez. Verstappen now leads Norris by 47 points in the driver’s championship, with just four races remaining.

Despite Verstappen’s victory, the race was not without drama. The Dutchman received a five-place grid penalty for Sunday’s grand prix after taking a fifth engine. He also faced criticism for his driving style after receiving two 10-second penalties last week in Mexico.
