Mon Nov 04 07:00:07 UTC 2024: ## KTM Unveils Aggressive New 390 Adventure R Ahead of EICMA Debut

**Milan, Italy** – KTM has given fans a sneak peek at their upcoming 390 Adventure R ahead of its official launch at EICMA 2024. Leaked images show a completely redesigned motorcycle, drawing inspiration from the larger 890 ADV, with a distinctly off-road focused aesthetic.

The new 390 Adventure R boasts a Dakar Rally-inspired windscreen, inverted U-shaped DRL, vertically stacked headlights, and a towering front mudguard. Its 21-inch front wheel and knobby tires further emphasize its off-road capabilities.

Underneath, the 390 Adventure R is underpinned by a steel trellis frame and boasts a sharply raked rear section, similar to its larger KTM siblings. The motorcycle features adjustable suspension with 230mm of travel, promising impressive off-road performance. It also features a tall seat height of 885mm, higher than competitors like the Royal Enfield Himalayan and Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro.

Tech features include cornering ABS and traction control, both switchable. A 6-speed gearbox with a quick-shifter complements the engine, while a full-color TFT screen provides riders with essential information.

One surprising feature is the underbelly exhaust, a departure from the upswept exhaust typically seen on adventure motorcycles. While this design detail may be subject to change on the final production model, it certainly adds a unique touch to the bike.

Full details and specifications are expected to be revealed at EICMA 2024, where the new KTM 390 Adventure R will officially make its debut.
