The combined Krishna district alone has 1,095 teacher vacancies, including 639 for School Assistants and 456 for Secondary Grade Teachers. However, the Chandrababu Naidu government has revoked this GO, restoring the original vacancy count and paving the way for a comprehensive recruitment process.
The government has formulated the list based on the vacancies that will arise by the end of April 2025, following the guidelines set for the Mega DSC. Training centers in Vijayawada, Avanigadda, and Machilipatnam are witnessing a surge in activity as aspiring teachers from across the state flock to these centers for training.
