Mon Nov 04 09:45:08 UTC 2024: ## Mega DSC Dream Comes True: Over 16,000 Teacher Vacancies to be Filled in Andhra Pradesh

**Amaravati, [Date]:** The Chandrababu Naidu-led coalition government has taken a significant step towards fulfilling its promise of a Mega DSC, paving the way for filling over 16,000 teacher vacancies across Andhra Pradesh.

The list of teacher vacancies for the combined Krishna district has been finalized, with the state government expected to release a notification for recruitment soon. This move comes as welcome news for thousands of aspiring teachers who have been eagerly awaiting this opportunity.

The combined Krishna district alone has 1,095 teacher vacancies, including 639 for School Assistants and 456 for Secondary Grade Teachers. The previous government’s GO 117 had led to school mergers, reducing the number of teacher vacancies in the region. However, the Chandrababu Naidu government has revoked this GO, restoring the original vacancy count and paving the way for a comprehensive recruitment process.

The government has formulated the list based on the vacancies that will arise by the end of April 2025, following the guidelines set for the Mega DSC. Training centers in Vijayawada, Avanigadda, and Machilipatnam are witnessing a surge in activity as aspiring teachers from across the state flock to these centers for training.

This much-anticipated recruitment drive is expected to breathe new life into the education sector in Andhra Pradesh, providing a much-needed boost to the teaching workforce and ensuring quality education for students.
