**Melbourne, Australia:** Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has achieved a historic milestone in One Day International (ODI) cricket, surpassing his fellow countryman Brett Lee’s record for the fastest Australian to reach 100 ODI wickets on home soil.
Starc achieved this feat during the first ODI against Pakistan on Monday, capturing three wickets in his allotted 10 overs, conceding just 33 runs. His victims included both Pakistani openers, Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique, as well as a clean bowled dismissal of Shaheen Shah Afridi.
