**New Delhi:** A 38-year-old man is recovering in Safdarjung Hospital after he was allegedly attacked by his wife who severed his private parts following a heated argument in north Delhi. The incident took place in the early hours of November 1st.
According to police, the man, a native of Bihar who had recently moved to Delhi, had an argument with his wife while intoxicated. He stated that his wife left the house after the argument and he fell asleep. However, she later returned and attacked him with a sharp object, causing serious injuries. She then fled the scene.
The victim, who works as a helper in a paying guest accommodation in Shakti Nagar, was initially taken to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital before being transferred to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment. Police are currently searching for the accused woman, who is on the run.
This is the third marriage for both the victim and the accused. The police are investigating the incident and further details are expected to be released soon.
