Sun Nov 03 18:08:44 UTC 2024: ## Mumbai Woman Arrested for Threatening UP CM Yogi Adityanath

**Mumbai, India:** A 24-year-old woman, identified as Fatima Khan, was arrested by Mumbai police on Sunday for allegedly threatening Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The threat message, sent to the Mumbai traffic police’s WhatsApp number, demanded Adityanath’s resignation within 10 days, threatening consequences “like Baba Siddique.”

Khan, who holds a BSc in Information Technology, resides in Ulhasnagar, Thane district, with her family. While authorities describe her as well-qualified, they also state she is mentally unstable.

The Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), in collaboration with Ulhasnagar police, traced the message to Khan and apprehended her. Investigations are ongoing.

This incident comes at a crucial time, with Adityanath expected to campaign in Maharashtra for the upcoming state assembly elections in November. The arrest follows the recent killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique in Mumbai’s Bandra area on October 12.

The Mumbai police are on high alert following these developments.
