Sun Nov 03 16:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Sevilla Back Home: Pimienta Calls Up 23 for Real Sociedad Clash
After nearly a month away, Sevilla FC returns to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium this weekend for their La Liga clash against Real Sociedad. The team last played at home on November 5th in the Seville derby, having since been forced to play two away matches and the first round of the Copa del Rey in Las Rozas.
The return coincides with a positive run of form for the team, who have earned two wins in their last three matches. Coach Xavi García Pimienta, hoping to build on this momentum, has called up 23 players for the match. Notably absent from the squad are Saúl, Suso, Ejuke, Nyland, and Badé, all of whom are dealing with injuries. However, Peque, who missed a training session earlier this week, has been included in the squad, along with the returning Jesús Navas and Lokonga.
Youngsters Ramón and Isra, who featured in the Copa del Rey match, are also part of the squad.
Sevilla will be looking to continue their climb up the table, while Real Sociedad will be aiming to bounce back from their recent loss against Real Madrid. The match promises to be a highly contested affair as both teams battle for crucial points in the league.
