Sun Nov 03 15:00:05 UTC 2024: ## Parliamentary Committee on Railways Visits Tirupati to Inspect Infrastructure and Passenger Needs

**TIRUPATI, INDIA -** The Parliamentary Committee on Railways, led by Chairman and Anakapalle MP C.M. Ramesh, arrived in Tirupati on Sunday for a study tour. The committee, which includes member K. Lakshman and others, arrived by Duronto train from Bengaluru.

Upon arrival at Renigunta railway junction, the committee was warmly received by BJP leaders including TTD trust board member G. Bhanuprakash Reddy, State spokespersons Samanchi Srinivas and Kola Anand, and several other party officials. South Central Railways General Manager Arun Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager Vijay Kumar, and Tirupati Station Director K. Satyanarayana were also present.

Mr. Ramesh stated that the purpose of the visit is to inspect ongoing railway infrastructure improvement projects and identify passenger needs in Tirupati. Following a darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, the committee will hold a review meeting with senior railway officials on Monday. A high-level meeting in Secunderabad is also scheduled in the near future.
