Sun Nov 03 18:26:55 UTC 2024: ## Kerala Blasters Confident Ahead of Mumbai City Clash Despite History

**Mumbai, India:** Kerala Blasters, riding high on their impressive away form this Indian Super League season, are heading to Mumbai City with a renewed sense of confidence despite a history of heavy losses at the Mumbai Football Arena.

The Blasters, unbeaten in their away games so far, have shown no fear in hostile environments like Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, and Kolkata. Coach Mikael Stahre dismissed past results, reminding the media that the current squad is different and focused on the present.

“In general, we are playing well,” said Stahre. “I think the fans also see that we are making progress and playing good football.”

Despite a recent 1-3 home defeat to league leaders Bengaluru FC, the Blasters remain positive. Their first game without star forward Noah Sadaoui, who was absent due to fitness issues, saw them become the first team to score against Bengaluru this season.

“This group is really good at bouncing back,” Stahre said. “The reaction (to the BFC defeat) was absolutely brilliant. The (Thursday’s) training was so far the best since I took over… everyone wants to win.”

While the Blasters will be desperate for Sadaoui’s return, Stahre remained tight-lipped about his availability. Goalkeeper Sachin Suresh is confirmed to miss the match due to lack of fitness, meaning Som Kumar, who made a costly error against Bengaluru, will start.

Meanwhile, Mumbai City, currently in ninth position with six points from five games, are not the same formidable force they once were. This presents an opportunity for the Kerala Blasters to turn the tide in their favor and secure a crucial win.

The match will kick off at 7:30 PM and be live on JioCinema.
