Sat Nov 02 18:26:33 UTC 2024: ## Liverpool Injury Concerns Ahead of Brighton Clash

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that Alisson Becker, Federico Chiesa, and Diogo Jota will miss Saturday’s Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion. The trio are expected to be sidelined until after the November international break.

“It’s always difficult to say exactly when they’ll be back, especially in the final stage of recovery, which can fluctuate,” Klopp said in his pre-match press conference. “They won’t be available before the break, and we’ll see if they can join us afterwards.”

The news comes after Liverpool’s hard-fought 2-2 draw against Arsenal last week, which saw them drop to second in the Premier League table. The Reds then secured a 3-2 win over Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

When asked about facing Brighton twice in a short space of time, Klopp stated, “It’s not strange. In the old Champions League or Europa League, you’d face a team again after a week. Football is used to this kind of schedule.”

“Both teams didn’t start with their strongest lineups on Wednesday, so it’s a positive thing for both managers. It’s about knowing your opponent even better. While the playing style might be the same, the quality of the players makes the difference. Saturday’s game will be different.”

Despite the injuries, Liverpool will be hoping to secure a victory against Brighton and reclaim their top spot in the Premier League standings.
