Fri Nov 01 19:50:00 UTC 2024: ## Jaguars Injury Report: Multiple Starters Questionable for Eagles Matchup

**JACKSONVILLE, FL** – The Jacksonville Jaguars are facing a crucial Week 9 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles with a number of key players listed as game-time decisions due to injuries.

Head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that running back **Travis Etienne Jr.** (hamstring), wide receivers **Brian Thomas Jr.** (chest) and **Gabe Davis** (shoulder), and right guard **Brandon Scherff** (knee) are all questionable for Sunday’s game.

Etienne missed the last two games after suffering his hamstring injury in Week 6, while Thomas, Davis, and Scherff all sustained their injuries in last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers. While Thomas has shown improvement in practice this week, Pederson emphasized the need for caution with his injury.

In addition to the questionable starters, starting left guard **Ezra Cleveland** has been ruled out with a high-ankle sprain sustained against the Packers.

The running back situation is also precarious with **Tank Bigsby**, who filled in for Etienne the last two weeks, dealing with an ankle injury. Bigsby, who leads the Jaguars with 493 rushing yards and four touchdowns, has been limited in practice but Pederson remained optimistic about his availability.

Adding to the injury woes, safety **Andrew Wingard**, currently on injured reserve, has shown positive progress and could be activated before the Eagles game.

With a number of key players’ status uncertain, the Jaguars’ ability to maintain their winning momentum against a strong Eagles team will depend heavily on the availability of these players. The team will make final decisions on their participation later this week.
