**Mumbai, India:** The highly anticipated “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” starring Vidya Balan, Kartik Aaryan, and Madhuri Dixit has finally hit the screens, but sadly, it fails to live up to the hype.
The film starts strong, with a captivating narrative set in 1824, introducing the vengeful spirit of Princess Manjulika (Vidya Balan). Her story and the horrors she unleashes are both intriguing and effective.
However, the film quickly loses its way as it introduces Ruhaan (Kartik Aaryan), a conman who poses as a “Ruha Baba.” While his antics provide some laughs, the film starts to feel like a disjointed mix of horror and comedy, lacking a cohesive plot.
Despite impressive performances from Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, the film suffers from a weak screenplay riddled with plot holes and predictable twists. The second half of the film descends into chaos, with a confusing narrative that ultimately fails to satisfy.
While Kartik Aaryan tries his best to emulate Akshay Kumar’s “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” persona, his efforts fall short. The supporting cast, including Trupti Dimri, Vijay Raj, Rajesh Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar, also fail to leave a lasting impression.
“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” ultimately disappoints with its uninspired horror, underwhelming comedy, and lack of logical plot development. If you’re planning to watch it, be prepared for a frustrating experience.
