**Milan, Italy:** Aprilia is set to unveil a prototype of its highly anticipated Tuareg 457 ADV at the 2024 EICMA Motorcycle Show, according to industry sources. This new adventure bike is based on the RS 457 sportbike platform, utilizing the same 457cc parallel-twin engine.

The Tuareg 457 will be offered in two variants: a rally-spec version designed for off-road racing, and a street-legal production model. The rally variant, which will compete in the December 2024 Africa Eco Race, boasts a 55 bhp output at 10,000 rpm and a dry weight of 160 kg. The production version is expected to offer a slightly lower 47 bhp at 9,400 rpm, similar to the RS 457, and is predicted to achieve a top speed exceeding 170 kmph.

The Tuareg 457 will inherit the steel frame and aluminum swingarm from its larger sibling, the Tuareg 660, currently sold in India for Rs. 19 lakh (ex-showroom). The production version, which is expected to be assembled in India, will face off against the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure.

The Aprilia Tuareg 457’s key differentiator will be its parallel-twin engine, making it the only sub-500cc ADV on the market with this configuration. With its expected competitive pricing, the Tuareg 457 is poised to shake up the entry-level adventure bike segment.
