Fri Nov 01 00:40:27 UTC 2024: ## England’s Young Guns Aim for West Indies Glory: Debutants Set to Shine in White-Ball Series

**North Sound, Antigua** – England’s tour of the West Indies promises a platform for young talent to break through, with stand-in captain Liam Livingstone highlighting the opportunity for new faces to make their mark. The white-ball series, comprising three ODIs and five T20s, sees four uncapped players – Michael Pepper, Dan Mousley, Jafer Chohan, and John Turner – included in the squad.

“If someone steps up and showcases something new, they can quickly rise to the top,” Livingstone stated, emphasizing the potential within the team. “We’re going to see a lot of untapped talent.”

Livingstone, leading the ODI side in the absence of the injured Jos Buttler, who will return for the T20s, is confident about the squad’s potential. “It’s my responsibility to guide these young players and help them feel comfortable,” he said. “I want these games to be exciting, play some good cricket, win, and then hand the reins back to Jos.”

The first ODI will take place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, on Thursday. This series marks a significant opportunity for these young talents to stake their claim and potentially forge their place in the England team.
