Telugu action comedy drama “Viswam,” starring Gopichand and directed by Srinu Vaitla, has hit a roadblock at the box office despite some early hype. While the film garnered praise for its comedic elements, it failed to make a significant impact on audiences.
Now, whispers suggest that “Viswam” may be headed to streaming giant Amazon Prime Video as a Diwali special on November 1st, 2024. Although an official announcement is still pending, this move could give the film a second chance at success.
“Viswam” features Kavya Thapar as the female lead alongside Gopichand. The supporting cast includes Naresh, Pragati, Vennela Kishore, Jisshu Sengupta, Sunil, Rahul Ramakrishna, Pruthvi, and Mukesh Rishi. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Venu Donepudi, with music composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
