**New Delhi:** In a surprising turn of events, comedian Kunal Kamra has seemingly become an employee of Ola Electric, following a public feud with CEO Bhavish Aggarwal over the company’s customer service.
Kamra, who has been vocal about the issues faced by Ola Electric scooter owners, recently announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he feels like an Ola employee after being tagged in countless customer complaints. He even went on to propose a service crisis plan for the company, including a 7-day repair commitment, compensation for delays, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
The comedian’s “job offer” comes just a day after he requested Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to intervene in the matter. The spat between Kamra and Aggarwal began when the comedian criticized Ola’s service quality, pointing out poor scooter condition at service centres and the lack of qualified technicians.
Kamra’s proposed plan emphasizes a 7-day repair guarantee, with a Rs. 500 daily reimbursement for any delays beyond that. He also advocates for two types of insurance for each new scooter: one for the scooter itself and another for servicing, provided free of charge.
This unusual development marks a new chapter in the ongoing public feud between the comedian and the electric vehicle company. While Ola Electric has yet to officially respond to Kamra’s “job offer”, the company’s silence only adds to the intrigue surrounding this ongoing saga.
