Fri Nov 01 14:59:50 UTC 2024: ## Comedian Kunal Kamra “Accepts” Ola Job Offer With Stringent Conditions
**New Delhi, India:** In a dramatic turn of events following a public spat, comedian Kunal Kamra has “accepted” an offer from Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal to join the company, but only under a set of strict conditions. The offer came after Kamra criticized Ola Electric’s handling of customer service issues, specifically regarding delays in scooter repairs.
Aggarwal, initially dismissive of Kamra’s concerns, offered him a job, stating he could pay more than Kamra’s “failed comedy career.” Kamra, in a sarcastic twist, accepted the offer, arguing that he was essentially already an Ola employee after being tagged in numerous customer complaints.
However, Kamra’s acceptance is contingent on Ola meeting a series of demands. He insists that Ola Electric must commit to resolving service issues within seven business days, with customers receiving temporary replacements or daily reimbursements for delays beyond that. He further proposes customers be compensated for each day of delay and that all new scooters be sold with an additional service insurance policy.
Aggarwal has yet to respond to Kamra’s demands. The public feud began when Kamra highlighted the plight of Ola Electric scooter owners facing long repair wait times, prompting Aggarwal to label his tweet “paid” and challenge him to join the company.
While Ola Electric’s CFO Harish Abhichandani claims 99% of complaints are resolved to customer satisfaction, Kamra’s actions have brought renewed attention to customer grievances regarding the company’s service performance.
The saga has sparked a debate on social media about customer rights and corporate responsibility, with some praising Kamra’s advocacy and others questioning his motives. The future of this unlikely partnership remains uncertain, but the public exchange has undoubtedly brought Ola’s service issues to the forefront of public discourse.
