Thu Oct 31 19:24:17 UTC 2024: ## IMA Mangaluru to Celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava with Award Ceremony and Book Release

**Mangaluru, October 31, 2024:** The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Mangaluru branch will be celebrating Karnataka Rajyotsava on Friday, November 1st, with a special event at their premises. The festivities will begin at 10:30 am with a flag hoisting ceremony by Dr. M. Shantharam Shetty, senior doctor and Pro-Chancellor of Nitte Deemed to be University.

The event will also feature the release of four books authored by Dr. Shetty, namely “Vaidya Vruttiya Neeti Mattu Tatva”, “Yelubu Rogigalu haagu Rooga”, “Cancer Gods Gift to Me”, and “How I Made It A Real Story”.

The highlight of the celebration will be the presentation of the IMA Rajyotsava award to a doctor who has actively contributed to the cause of Kannada language and environmental protection. Renowned actor Suman Talwar will be gracing the event with his presence.
