Stokes emphasized that the worst aspect of the crime was that it occurred while his family was home. He stated that the family is “understandably shaken” and thankful that the situation didn’t escalate further.
In an attempt to identify the culprits, Stokes shared images of some of the stolen items on social media, appealing for the public’s help in locating the individuals responsible. He stated that his primary motivation in sharing these images was not the recovery of material possessions, but to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
