Tantra Shastra, an ancient Indian tradition of spiritual practices, offers several rituals believed to bring financial abundance and blessings.
**13 Diyas for Financial Stability:** According to Tantra Shastra, lighting 13 diyas (lamps) filled with ghee and a cowrie shell each on the night of Dhanteras is a powerful ritual. These lamps should be placed in the courtyard of the house. At midnight, the cowrie shells should be removed and buried in a corner of the house. This ritual is believed to alleviate financial difficulties and bring success in business and employment.
**Five Gomti Chakras for Lakshmi’s Blessings:** It is recommended to incorporate five Gomti Chakras (spiral-shaped shells) in the worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber during Dhanteras. These shells should be inscribed with the name of Goddess Lakshmi using sandalwood and saffron. After performing the puja, wrap the Gomti Chakras in a red cloth and place them in the safe or money locker. This ritual is said to attract wealth and secure the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
**Kinners for Financial Abundance:** If you encounter a Kinnar (a transgender person) on the evening of Dhanteras or Diwali, consider offering them a donation and requesting a coin in return. Receiving the coin willingly from the Kinnar is believed to bring financial stability and ensure the completion of your endeavors.
**21 Akshat for Success and Prosperity:** On Dhanteras evening, perform puja for Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber. Offer 21 unbroken rice grains (Akshat) colored with saffron and turmeric. After the puja, tie these Akshat in a clean red cloth and hang it on your house or workplace entrance. This practice is believed to bring prosperity and success. Also, donate a handful of rice to someone in need.
**Bargad Tree Ritual for Sudden Wealth:** Tie a knot in a branch of a banyan tree (Bargad) on Dhanteras evening. Apply turmeric tilak to five cowrie shells and pass them over your head eight times. Offer these cowrie shells along with some money to a needy person. This ritual is said to attract sudden wealth. Remember to untie the knot in the banyan tree branch once the wealth arrives.
