**TIRUPATI:** The newly appointed Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board, BR Naidu, has pledged to prioritize ensuring that all employees working at Tirumala, the sacred abode of Lord Venkateswara, are Hindus.

Speaking to reporters, Naidu stated, “Everyone who works at Tirumala should be Hindu. That would be my first effort.”

Naidu, a renowned media figure running Hindu devotional TV channels and a long-time devotee of Lord Venkateswara, expressed gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and NDA government leaders for appointing him to this position.

He further emphasized his commitment to transparency and integrity in his duties, claiming irregularities under the previous YSR Congress regime. Naidu highlighted the importance of safeguarding the temple’s sanctity.

In recent developments, the Andhra Pradesh government reconstituted the TTD Board with 24 members, including notable figures like Bharat Biotech’s co-founder, Suchitra Ella.

The TTD’s SV Annaprasadam Trust has introduced a one-day donation scheme to fund Annaprasadam for millions of devotees visiting Tirumala. Donors can contribute Rs. 44 lakh for a full day’s meals, with options to sponsor breakfast, lunch, or dinner individually.

This move comes amidst ongoing initiatives by TTD to provide Annaprasadam at food counters in Tirumala, as well as to elderly and disabled individuals waiting for darshan and at the Special Entrance Darshan Complex. The TTD also provides beverages and distributes milk to children.
