**Tokyo, Japan – October 30, 2024** – NEC Corporation has announced the release of two new factory computers, the FC-R03W and FC-R03T, boasting significant performance improvements compared to previous models. Both models will be available for shipment starting November 28th.
The new models are 2U rack-mountable and feature powerful processors: the FC-R03W utilizes an “Intel Xeon Gold 5418Y Processor” (2.00GHz/24 cores), while the FC-R03T employs an “Intel Xeon Silver 4410Y Processor” (2.00GHz/12 cores). Both models are equipped with DDR5 SDRAM, offering expanded memory capacities of up to 512GB for 2Way models and 256GB for 1Way models. Storage options include NVMe SSDs with capacities of 960GB and 3.8TB.
These specifications enable significant performance enhancements, with the FC-R03W delivering a 1.3x increase and the FC-R03T achieving a remarkable 1.8x improvement in processing power. Additionally, an “NVIDIA RTX A2000” can be added as an optional component.
NEC offers a 5-year supply guarantee for both models, along with a maximum 10-year maintenance period after the end of supply. The “Support Pack” provides comprehensive maintenance services for 15 years from the date of delivery.
The suggested retail prices for the FC-R03W and FC-R03T start at 2,277,400 yen and 1,821,600 yen respectively.
