**Cannes, France -** Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman and CEO Channing Dungey provided updates on highly anticipated projects, including the upcoming *Harry Potter* series and the potential return of *Ted Lasso*, during her keynote at MIPCOM Cannes.

Regarding the *Harry Potter* series, Dungey confirmed that the show will be “a little bit more in-depth” than a feature film, allowing for deeper exploration of the beloved books. The series is currently in production with a writing staff in place, casting calls underway in the UK and Ireland, and Emmy-winning *Succession* creatives Francesca Gardiner (writer and showrunner) and Mark Mylod (director) at the helm.

While a fourth season of *Ted Lasso* remains unconfirmed, Dungey revealed that conversations are ongoing and “very exciting.” She emphasized that show creator and star Jason Sudeikis will only move forward with the project if he’s genuinely passionate about it, which seems to be the case. Co-creators Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein have also expressed their willingness to participate if Sudeikis decides to move forward.

Dungey also acknowledged the ongoing shifts in the television industry, highlighting the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, economic fluctuations, and recent strikes. She emphasized the importance of adaptability in a constantly evolving landscape.
